…I am convinced that the hands of the ”Doomsday Clock” can be moved backward. But this can only happen if a critical mass of well-informed people demand changes that increase the security of all nations. I’m sure that even a very limited nuclear detonation somewhere on the planet would quickly raise the necessary awareness. Major reforms would follow. But wouldn’t it be better to create this awareness and support before the next nuclear calamity?
