Our Planet, Our Health: 2025 Climate Action Convention was a success! March 20, 2025

Earlier this month, the Our Planet, Our Health 2025 Climate Action Convention was held in Washington, DC. PSR National was honored to be a part of the Planning Committee to help make this more than 300 attendee convention a success. In collaboration with the Medical Society Consortium on Climate and Health, American Lung Association, EcoAmerica, the Planetary Health Alliance and other climate & health organizations, participants gathered together to learn about how they as health professionals can take action for a healthy climate. PSR National helped to plan three sessions: Identifying and Addressing Misinformation on Climate Science, Opportunities to Integrate Climate and Health Into State and Local Policy, and Addressing Health Impacts of Fossil Fuel Infrastructure. We’d like to thank the Medical Society Consortium on Climate and Health for including us in the Planning Committee and for graciously hosting the convention. Following the convention was a Hill Day hosted by PSR and our friends at the American Lung Association and Medical Society Consortium on Climate and Health. Nearly 100 health professionals met with over 115 Members of Congress to advocate for the protection of the Inflation Reduction Act’s climate and health investments.
