Magritte Gordaneer Promoted to Director of PSR’s Nuclear Weapons Abolition Program April 1, 2026

We are pleased to announce the promotion of Magritte Gordaneer to the position of Director of the Nuclear Weapons Abolition Program. Since joining PSR in March of 2024, Magritte has proven her leadership and dedication to our mission of peace, justice, and health. Her vision and commitment have helped expand the reach of the program, growing our movement at this crucial moment. In the past year, she helped launch two new PSR  programs: Emerging Leaders for Planetary Health and Human Security and Radiation & Nuclear Weapons: Health Risks & Advocacy Training. Magritte also helps convene monthly meetings of PSR-CAN (Community to Abolish Nuclear Weapons) and co-leads a national roundtable of organizations working to Stop the Nuclear Arms Race. She was recognized as a 2025 Nuclear Futures Fellow by Ploughshares and Horizon 2045. Please join us in congratulating Magritte and supporting her ongoing leadership!
