Martha Dina Argüello, executive director of Physicians for Social Responsibility-Los Angeles, said in a recent interview that it’s been encouraging to see city officials moving slowly and working closely with disadvantaged communities.

“We want clean energy, but we also want to make sure that renters are protected,” she said.
