This week is National Climate Action Week, and we need your help!

This year we have seen More episodes of extreme heat, increased frequency of natural disasters, and changing patterns of infectious disease are already imposing unnecessary illness and premature death. The future threaten to get worse—much worse—if we don’t take action now.

During this week, join PSR in calling your representative in Washington and demand they commit to big, bold, and ambitious investments to tackle the climate crisis, achieve true environmental justice, and accelerate the transition to clean energy.

• I’m calling b/c I am so concerned about climate change. Climate change is not coming, it’s here. Here in our state, we are already suffering from the effects: [fill in local effects of climate change: heat waves? drought? wildfire? smoke? destructive high tides? crop loss? etc.]  Climate change is affecting our health.
• To protect us and our kids and grandkids, we need bold action on climate. We need to transition rapidly to clean, safe, healthy energy sources like wind and solar. That’s where our country should be investing its resources.
