“Forever chemicals” in fracking May 22, 2023

new report compiled by Physicians for Social Responsibility has identified the use of per-and polyfluoroalkyl substances, known as PFAS, or “forever chemicals,” in 260 of oil and gas fracking operations in New Mexico and says the substances have likely been used at other sites under the protection of trade secrets for the contents of fracking fluid.
