WPSR Webinar: Homelessness or Health?

You’re Invited! WPSR’s Economic Inequity & Health Task Force invites you to “Homelessness or Health?” a free virtual event to discuss the factors that lead to homelessness in Washington state, and how healthcare professionals can use their voices and unique perspective to take action. Hear from speakers with real-life experiences of homelessness, and learn about how to support the bills in our upcoming legislative session that will help end homelessness. We need your help!

Speakers:

• Robert DeGregorio, second-year medical student, will share the history of, and factors contributing to the present-day homelessness crisis in Washington State, as well as share his own powerful lived experience.
• Po Leapai, Advocacy Organizer for the Washington Low Income Housing Alliance, will share his personal story, explain his coalition’s work to end homelessness, and review the legislation we need to pass this upcoming legislative session.
