Remembrance of Lost Species

Join us for Madison’s Remembrance of Lost Species event, co-sponsored by PSR Wisconsin and the UW Nelson Institute for Environmental Studies. Together, we will honor the species that have been lost and examine the impacts of climate change, toxic substances, and land use on both species and human health.
The evening will combine education, networking, and ceremony. We’ll reflect on the causes and consequences of global species loss, learn about efforts at UW–Madison and beyond to safeguard biodiversity, and highlight opportunities for action.
