Physicians for Social Responsibility Maine (PSR Maine) invites all Maine health professionals and advocates to join us for our Annual Gathering— a statewide event to celebrate, connect, and galvanize our shared commitment to protecting health through advocacy and action.

•       Health Hero Award Presentation

We are honored to recognize Maine Attorney General Aaron Frey with PSR Maine’s Health Hero Award for his leadership in protecting public health and standing up to powerful interests. His recent lawsuit against major oil companies and the American Petroleum Institute exposes decades of deception about fossil fuels and climate change, seeking accountability for the damage already impacting Maine communities.

•       Updates from the Front Lines

Get briefings from two of PSR Maine’s flagship coalitions:

– Mainers Ending Nuclear Dangers (MEND) will share reflections on nuclear policy and disarmament in today’s volatile global landscape.

– The Alliance of Maine Health Professionals for Climate Action will offer an update on climate and health advocacy in Maine and beyond.
