Dark Circle (1982, 82 min)
An award-winning exposé on the true cost of the Atomic Age. Dark Circle is a must-see for anyone who wants to go beyond Oppenheimer and confront the haunting legacies we still live with today.
This powerful documentary traces the legacy of nuclear weapons from Hiroshima and Nagasaki to the radioactive fallout of U.S. weapons production at Rocky Flats, Colorado. Blending scientific insight with devastating human stories, Dark Circle is a searing indictment of nuclear violence—then and now.
Winner of the Sundance Grand Prize, Emmy Award, and Academy-shortlisted for Best Documentary, this newly restored classic remains as urgent today as ever.
