Art Exhibit
11:00AM – 1:00PM Branigan Cultural Center, 501 N Main St, Las Cruces, NM
The TBDC will be hosting the exhibit opening on July 15th, from 11:00AM to 1:00PM. The exhibit, Trinity: Legacies of Nuclear Testing, A People’s Perspective will feature artists and their artistic interpretations based on their respective experiences with nuclear testing and overexposure to radiation. There will be speakers, live music, and refreshments available.
Candlelight Vigil
7:30PM – 9:30PM Albert Johnson Park, 896 N Main St, Las Cruces, NM
The TBDC is hosting their 13th annual Candlelight Vigil on July 15th, starting at 7:30PM, with the program starting at 8:00PM. We will provide important updates on our work and memorialize those we’ve lost to the negative impact of exposure to radiation.
The Candlelight Vigil will take place at the Albert Johnson Park, 896 N Main St, Las Cruces, NM 88001. Please bring your own lawn chairs or blankets for seating – don’t forget sunscreen and bug spray.
