A Day to Mourn, Not to Celebrate

Join the NYC War Resisters League in their protest against events taking place at the Intrepid on August 6th. At 10:45am from Times Square Recruiting Station they will march towards the Intrepid. Attendees are encouraged to join at Times Square but may also join at the site of the Intrepid. While the Intrepid holds a “Happy Birthday, Intrepid” party on the warship, campaigners will gather outside to vigil, leaflet, host a table to fold paper cranes and learn the Sadako story. August 6 is not a day for celebration, it is a day to remember.
