EPA Heard us Loud and Clear on Carbon August 25, 2023

Last month we began collecting your comments on EPA’s proposal to cut carbon emissions from coal- and gas-fired power plants. Together, PSR’s members submitted over 1,000 comments! Jointly with our partners at Climate Action Campaign (CAC), over one million comments were submitted! In addition, PSR signed onto organizational comments alongside dozens of partners in the health and environmental fields, through CAC and the Healthy Air Partners coalition. EPA will review all comments received before issuing a final rulemaking in the coming months. We will keep you up to date if further action is needed.
