I am shocked that Governor DeSantis has appointed a task force on opening our State without including a single person having a medical or epidemiology degree. Like many Floridians, the medical community wants a return to our pre-COVID-19 lifestyles. The decision to reopen Florida for business should be made by a panel of infectious disease experts, doctors, epidemiologists and those with a solid background in the science of epidemics.
